PCB COMPONENTS – MAC8

Shindenkizai Company is a reputable name in the field of electronic components that provides electronic components and devices. One of their brands is MAC8, which is a leading company for designing and producing “PCB hardware” in Japan. Established in 1972, Shindenkizai focuses on designing connectors, spacers, test points, pin inserts, sockets, terminals, and other electronic components. They offer a comprehensive range with over 7000 items in their lineup to meet the needs of various applications and keep designing new components every year. MAC8 products are manufactured to meet the highest quality standards and are known for their reliability and long lifespan.

SPACERS

When it comes to technology for PCB hardware, every millimeter counts. Ensuring accurate component placement and maintaining proper vertical spacing is crucial for optimal circuit performance and reliability. That’s where Mac8 spacers come in.

We understand that one-size-fits-all doesn’t apply to the diverse world of PCB. That’s why the manufacturer offers a comprehensive range of Mac8 spacers to cater to the customers’ specific requirements. Spacers are made of metal and resin, some popular options include:

  •          Hexagon spacers (SP, SQ, SPS, SQS, SR series and MP, MQ, MPP, AR, CQ series): Hex spacers hold two components away from each other or one component above another on a circuit board. They’re commonly used in electronic equipment or PCBs to keep two electrical parts from touching each other, thereby preventing electrical shorts, are hexagonal, and tend to be used with larger bolts and set screws.
  •          Round spacers (also often known as clearance spacers, including ER, ERS, RP, RQ series and AP, AQ, BP, EB, EM, EP, FP series) are considered the standard shape, offering a sleek and space-saving option for situations where aesthetics or component density is a concern.
  •          Spacer for soldering: This kind of spacer is used for soldering on one side and is made of brass with tin plating over a nickel base. It is available in different sizes and can be used for various purposes such as fitting a panel, fitting to a housing, and supplying electric wire
  •          Through-hole tap spacers: Combining spacer functionality with the ability to create secure threaded connections through the PCB, perfect for robust attachment.

SOCKET

PCB Sockets are connectors that are designed to allow the connection of two printed circuit boards (PCBs) without cabling. They’re connected to a PCB to ensure a more secure and stable connection. They are used in a wide range of circuit board applications and can be used as alternatives to soldering relays directly to a PCB, allowing for easy replacement of timers or relays.

The sockets make the pin insertion and removal easy and save space.

Socket pin

Possible to be used as a socket of DIP relay,
X’tal and IC or connect 2PCB higher.

Socket pin for SMT

Possible to provide power to the SMD PCB or to connect 2 SMD PCBs.

Connection socket (PM series)

Variable shape and dimension and Variable pin pitch.
